TASCOMBANK has joined the Financial inclusion and veterans’ reintegration charter

Charter participants are obliged to support the reintegration of veterans into the civil life and create relevant conditions for their employment and servicing in the banks.

TASCOMBANK joined the Financial inclusion and veterans’ reintegration charter, the conclusion of which was initiated by the National Bank of Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This decision became the next step of the bank to the creation of the inclusive environment for veterans and their adaptation to the civil life.

Chairman of the Management Board of TASCOMBANK Volodymyr Dubyey personally participated in Charter signing on April, the 9th 2024, in cooperation with the management of the National Bank of Ukraine and EBRD and emphasized the following:

“We understand that war leaves its footprint in the life of military. This is becoming a challenge for families and veterans and makes them struggle with new conditions and accept new challenges. Charter signing is the important step to development of the new infrastructure and servicing of people who require financial inclusion and adaptation to the civil life conditions.

Taking into consideration the invaluable personal contribution of every veteran into the successful future of Ukraine, we are obliged to create all necessary conditions for their further self-realization under civil conditions. We are devoted to this target and are ready to concentrate onto practical realization of the relevant projects.

Being one of the first banks that joined the idea of Charter signing, TASCOMBANK confirmed its pursuit to adoption of the inclusive policy, ensuring of equal access to financial services and creation of the proper labor conditions for veterans”.

TASCOMBANK is working on creation of the available and inclusive financial services for veterans and eliminates the boundaries on their way of returning to the civil work, grants loans to businesses that are run by veterans.

“Financial sector of Ukraine provides workplaces for more than 200 000 Ukrainians and serves more than 30 million clients. Among them there are many citizens who defend our country at the military service today. And the task of both the National Bank of Ukraine and financial system overall to create the conditions for their reintegration into the civil life. This requires transformation at many levels: development of the inclusive financial system with the equal access to the financial services, development of the new personnel policy, new approach to banking support of corporate clients who employ or serve veterans. We have to change and we are ready to do this. Financial sector completely shares heroes’ policy which is a part of new doctrine of the Ukrainian country. Together with the EBRD we are making first important steps into its realization”, - commented the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi.

As of today, the big part of the TASCOMBANK mobilized employees are undergoing their service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other military units. Their contribution into our future, courage and decisiveness are the examples for all of us and the bank is going to do everything possible for their support.
