TASСOMBANK during the war
TASCOMBANK as a reliable financial partner demonstrated its commitment to Ukraine by remaining active participant of the economic life of the country even during the most difficult times. Starting from the first day of the full-fledged invasion, the Bank continued paying salary to its employees, provided financial aid and actively supported the internally relocated employees.
Bank continues supporting the defenders of the country and invests into business development. Reliability, innovations and social responsibility remain the priorities of the Bank.
Support of Business
- At the beginning of war, security of bank employees and its clients became the main priority as well as ensuring of the bank’s business continuity. To reach this goal, operative plans of actions have been developed; the latter allowed to quickly react onto any challenges. The employees distributed across the country were constantly in touch with clients and anti-crisis teams of the Bank, ensuring continuous and reliable work.
- Bank continued implementation of the strategy of branches development – from Lviv to Kherson, providing access to its services in the regions where it was necessary at its most. In March and May 2022, 2 new branches in Lviv, 1 new branch in Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Korosten, Kovel and Kam’yanets-Podilskyi. In parallel, we were reopening our branches on the pre-front territories — in Kharkiv and in Pokrovsk. In 2023 TASCOMBANK returned to work in recaptured Kherson. As of September, the 1st, 2024, the Bank has 95 branches, 86 out of which are universal branches and 9 are the VIP-branches.
- As of the 1st of July 2024, own capital of TASCOMBANK amounts to 3,9 milliard UAH, the Bank’s assets make up 34,2 milliard UAH, liquidity and capital adequacy are higher than the norms of the National Bank of Ukraine: coefficient of liquidity coverage overcomes norms in 1,7 times, coefficient of financing stability overcomes norms in 1,3 times. The capital adequacy index of TASCOMBANK as of 01.07.2024 amounts to 9,19%, when the normative index is not less than 7%.

Support of Clients
- Starting from the first day of war, TASCOMBANK faced the numerous challenges that became the trigger of strategic changes. Being aware of the situation urgency, the Bank has implemented the repayment holidays and also cancelled the penalties and fines. These actions were taken to give the clients opportunities to focus onto security of their families and support of their relatives.
- To provide the business continuity and to guarantee the reliability of clients’ data protection, there were created new data centers in Kyiv, Lviv and Warsaw that allowed ensuring business continuity of the Bank even under the most difficult conditions. TASCOMBANK was working on the improvement of the credit portfolio quality and decrease of non-performing assets volume. Renewal of loan granting within retail segment for more than 1 milliard UAH became the important step in clients support.
- Mobile application TAS2U became the most reliable instrument that is always at hand and the bank’s network continues to provide clients with high quality service, relevant understanding and care. The Bank also joined the power Banking network that allows providing services 24/7, even in case of black outs, providing clients with constant access to financial services.
- Understanding new realities, the Bank has reconsidered the product line for business in order to take into consideration the clients’ interest at their most. One of the priority streams of the bank’s activity is participation in the state programs “yeOselya”, “yeVidnovlennya” and “Available factoring”. Thanks to these initiatives, one can get favorable conditions for accommodation purchase, renewal of the destroyed property and financing of the working capital.

Support of the Ukrainian defenders
Group “TAS” has donated more than 100 000 000 UAH to support the Ukrainian military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Territorial Defense Forces and SES. The Bank contributed to purchase of the defensive fortifications “Teeth of Dragon”, probes, drones and generators.
Understanding the importance of timely medical support, the Bank allocated resources into providing the military hospitals with necessary medicines, equipment, hygiene means and other critically important materials. The employees of the Bank regularly join the blood donorship initiatives to donate blood for military officers.

Training and development of employees
TASCOMBANK is convinced that achievement of the higher service standards in the banking sector is possible only on condition of constant improvement by means of trainings. Taking this into consideration, the specialized trainings of the bank employees are developed in line with the actual market needs, new tendencies and requirement of time. Bank actively cooperates with the leading experts, practical specialists and coaches, who help employees to develop professional skills, improve qualifications and professionally grow in their sphere.
TASCOMBANK pays a lot of attention to the team building events that help to form a team of co-thinkers. Common activities, team-buildings, out of office trainings allow creating the atmosphere of trust and mutual support. The pre-hospital care trainings are being held on constant basis.

Support and trainings of the youth
Partnership with the higher educational establishments: TASCOMBANK signed the 33 memorandums on cooperation with the leading higher educational establishments of Ukraine that opens new horizons for students and employees of the universities. This partnership allows improving the knowledge of the modern financial instruments by providing the opportunities to young people to get practical knowledge in the banking sector. Students have a possibility to undergo practice in 13 departments of the Bank that include different streams of work in the financial sector, with opportunity of further employment. But practice of students is only one of many streams of cooperation of the Bank with universities. Bank offers special programs of study loans that help students to concentrate on studies, but not on the financial matters. TASCOMBANK actively contributes to renewal of the university buildings that suffered from the war by supporting the educational establishment infrastructure. Students and teachers financial literacy improvement, cooperation in terms of the salary project – all these aspects are the important part of partnership with the educational establishments.
Bank has created the financial literacy courses for school-children — “Young master of finance” and “Financial workshop”. These programs help children from an early age to understand the basis of financial planning, personal finance management, basis of investments and savings. Specialists tell about complex matters in simple language, so that any pupil can understand and practically apply the received knowledge.
TASCOMBANK also supports the sports events for young people, as sport is not only about health, but also it is an important part of true leaders growing. Bank is a partner of such events as tournaments in socca, mini-football as well as Bank cooperates with the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.

Volunteering of the bank employees
Employees of the Bank are true heroes of the nowadays, as they are overcoming the limits of their daily duties and select the way of support and help of those who need it. Their stories are the examples of humanity, power of will and compassion.
Dmytro, the head of Kharkiv branch: at the beginning of the full-fledged invasion the head of Kharkiv branch of TASCOMBANK did not stay aside from the troubles that began into the city. He became one of those whose responsibility was to help people who got into trouble. Dmytro personally delivered the humanitarian aid to pensioners and disabled people. At the beginning these were the requests from friends – to visit their homes, to collect and pack the parcel with the most important things. But very quickly he became the one who was trusted even by strangers as people were giving him the keys from their homes. Under difficult conditions he learned to find necessary belongings with the owners by means of videocalls. Thanks to his commitment he helped more than twenty families to receive their favorite and important for them things from Kharkiv, the things that store warm memories and belief in peace and tranquility.
Anna, the deputy head of Kharkiv branch, became the other heroine of the volunteering movement. During the times difficult for the country Anna decided to join the volunteering community “Kharkiv”. Her commitment to volunteering and desire to help appeared to be irreplaceable. Anna actively coordinated the hot lines where people left the requests for food sets and medicines, hygiene sets and delivery of the humanitarian aid sets. She organized the work of volunteers in such a way that everyone who required it – received it on time. There are many such stories and every story is worth our attention.
