Financial literacy is critically for children as it gives them necessary skills for effective money management in the future. This helps them to understand the value of money and to learn how to plan  their expenses, to save and to invest money.

That is why on the 19th of March 2024, Kseniya Bober, the coach of TASCOMBANK training center, held an educational game “Financial literacy” for children of the bank employees. There were two age groups and separate specialized programs. 

Younger group: 

• learned the history of money appearance;
• considered the elements of money protection and learned how to check the banknote for its validity;
• learned how to save money;
• played and practiced the obtained knowledge.

Older group:

• familiarized with the types and components of the payment cards;
• defined the security measures in terms of the payment card use;
• played and practiced the obtained knowledge.

The event finished by the visit of central VIP-branch of TASCOMBANK and depository where children were told about that how and where to store the valuables.

Children were happy, got the new knowledge and received the sweets from the Bank.
