“TASCOMBANK” JSC officially received confirmation from the Business development fund (BDF) on full compliance of its own System of environmental and social management (Detailed SESM) with the high criteria of Environmental and social standard 9 (ESS9) of the World Bank.

It is a strategic step in the development of “green” funding and responsible banking in Ukraine. It is a confirmation that we do not only comply with the national norms but also integrate leading international practices of risk assessment into our work.

Confirmation of SESM compliance allows us to continue and scale up our participation in priority business support programs. In particular, this applies to the new components of the “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” national program. It means more available funding for the restoration and development of Ukrainian enterprises.

Now, enterprises from the areas which were considered as difficult for funding because of environmental and social inspects can count on the support from TASCOMBANK within the framework of the World Bank programs.
