TASCOMBANK among the participants in a key conference on financing of green restoration of Ukraine
On Friday, 27 February 2026, there will be an annual Eco-Industrial Parks Conference (EIP) in Kyiv — a key event in the area of industrial development and sustainable restoration of the country.
The theme of this year’s event is “Support green restoration through the attraction of funds for the development of EIP”.
The organizer of the conference is the United Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) within the “Global program of eco-industrial parks ІІ – Ukraine” project which is funded by the Government of Switzerland through the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
The goal of this event is the discussion of the strategic and practical aspects of financing of eco-industrial parks as the foundation for industrial development and European integration of Ukrainian business.
Within the conference, TASCOMBANK joined the panel discussion dedicated to the role of financial institutions in the provision of green restoration of the economy.
“For TASCOMBANK, the development of eco-industrial parks is, above all, about the formation of a modern and competitive industry in Ukraine. We consistently support the sustainable development projects and work with businesses that are aimed at long-term effectiveness and compliance with the international standards. Within the conference, it is important to discuss practical financial instruments, access to capital, and realistic mechanisms to attract investment”, — states Iryna Oliinyk, head of ESG and sustainable development coordination stream at TASCOMBANK.
She also emphasizes that experience exchange between financial institutions, business and global partners is crucial for the scaling of the eco-industrial park model in Ukraine.
“We will talk about not just ecology but also about economic benefit and competitiveness. Eco-industrial parks allow business to lower operational expenses, meet international standards, and can become the real drivers for the post-war economy. Our mission at this conference is to provide a platform for the operators to access capital, which will make this model popular in Ukraine”, - states the leading expert and coordinator of the UNIDO project, Cesar Barahona.
