Chairman of the Management Board of TASCOMBANK Volodymyr Dubyey met with the students of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. The Chairman of the Bank held a lecture for young people on financial literacy and also familiarized them with the main principles of work of the banking sector of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Dubyey told about the mission and key functions of the banks that act within the country and at the international level as well as about peculiarities of their work under new conditions of the full-fledged military aggression.  The Chairman of the Management Board explained the importance of the role that is played by the commercial banks with the Ukrainian capital. Such banks as TASCOMBANK, continue their work in line with the market principles, and do not stop financing  the enterprises that support the Ukrainian economy today. 

“Our common task today and during the following years is to restore and to recover the economy of Ukraine. Realization of this key target depends not only on those professionals who work for its achievement today, but also on the young generation that is still getting relevant knowledge. As well as understanding of the main pillars of functioning of the national financial system is necessary for everyone who makes his contribution to the development of economy”. – emphasized the Bank’s manager.

Replying the questions of students, Volodymyr Dubyey told about his vision of the banking system of Ukraine in the nearest future and in the long-term perspective. He also explained what is necessary to ensure the work of the bank or to develop the neobank on the basis of already existing classic bank. TASCOMBANK has also gained the serious expertise in this respect – today at its balance successfully develop neobanks sportbank and izibank, and it is further open for new fintech projects.

The meeting of Volodymyr Dubyey with students of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management was held in the framework of the Global Money Week 2023. This annual campaign on financial literacy improvement unites more than 100 countries of the world. The target of campaign coordinated by the National Bank of Ukraine is to underline the importance of financial literacy of young people to give them opportunities to learn relevant skills and to get relevant knowledge as well as to take the considered financial decisions.
